Kielo Camp is located near Pyhäjoki town center, about 1 km from Highway 8.
It’s easy to get here – just keep a few important things in mind.

  • Address: Vanhatie 75, 86100 Pyhäjoki, Finland

There are two bridges leading to Kielosaari, both with vehicle-specific limits:

Etelänkylä Old Wooden Bridge:

  • Height limit: 2.7 meters (remember to account for roof windows and extra equipment)
  • Weight limit: 6 tons

Directions from the South (Kalajoki, Kokkola):
→ Drive north on Highway 8.
→ If your vehicle fits the limits of the old wooden bridge, enjoy crossing this historical structure via Eteläkyläntie.
→ If not, continue on Highway 8 to S-market Pyhäjoki, turn onto Vanhatie, and follow the signs to Kielo Camp.

Directions from the North (Raahe, Oulu):
→ Drive south on Highway 8.
→ Turn right at S-market Pyhäjoki.
→ Follow Vanhatie directly to Kielo Camp.

Before reaching Kielo Camp, there’s one last bridge to cross – the Kielosaari Bridge from the mainland to the island.
It’s not long – more of a romantic crossing over the stream – but please note the limits:

  • Kielosaari Bridge (from the mainland to the island):
    • Weight limit: 12.5 tons
    • Width limit: 3.6 meters
  • This is suitable for most motorhomes, but if your vehicle is especially large or wide, you may need to stay on the mainland side.
